This policy explains how Între Brazi Retreat SRL (J08/123/2021), the operator of the Între Brazi guesthouse, processes the personal data of website visitors and guests, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the “GDPR”).

2. What data we process and why

When you submit a booking request we process: your full name, phone number, email address, the dates of your stay, the number of guests and your optional message. The purpose of the processing is managing bookings: checking availability, confirming or declining the request and communicating about your stay. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

To protect against abuse (spam), we briefly store an anonymised technical fingerprint of your IP address (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest).

3. Cookies and analytics

The website works without marketing cookies. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are used only if you give your consent via the consent banner; declining does not affect your use of the website in any way.

4. How long we keep your data

Data associated with booking requests is kept for 3 years from the date of your stay or your last interaction, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Accounting records are retained for the periods required by law.

5. Who we share your data with

Your data is never sold and is not used for marketing purposes. It may be accessed by our technical service providers (hosting, database, transactional email), strictly for the operation of the website, under GDPR-compliant data processing agreements.

6. Your rights

  • the right of access to your personal data;
  • the right to rectification of inaccurate data;
  • the right to erasure (the “right to be forgotten”);
  • the right to restriction of processing;
  • the right to data portability;
  • the right to object to processing;
  • the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP, www.dataprotection.ro).
